Exhibition curated by Ilinca Paun Constantinescu, NEC Niculae Vlădescu Fellow

NEC congratulates Ilinca Păun Constantinescu, NEC Fellow in the academic year 2015 – 2016, for her recent success: Ilinca will be the curator of the exhibition Shrinking Cities in Romania, which will be hosted in 2016 by MNAC (National Museum of Contemporary Art), with the support of the Association for Urban Transition (Asociaţia pentru Tranziţie Urbană) and the Association ideilagram. The proposal has recently received a grant from AFCN (The Administration of the National Cultural Fund).
The project intends to bring into the public attention a current urban phenomenon – the socio-cultural, physical, economic and demographic contraction of many Romanian cities. The exhibition aims to present this phenomenon in a clear, attractive and interactive way, accessible to the general public.
