The BMIF Journal (Mathematics, Informatics, Physics Series - Bulletin of PG University of Ploiesti), ISSN 1224-4899, e-ISSN 2067-242X, is an international quality, peer reviewed, biannual journal that publishes original research papers that present important discovery and/or novel ideas in all fields of fundamental sciences of mathematics, computer science and physics and application of those ideas in practice, and various articles (including surveys or reviews) that have the greatest possible impact on various disciplines, and that are to make contributions in traditional or new research and development areas. The editorial team strives to meet the demand for the presentation of interdisciplinary research concerned with applications of models and methods from mathematics and physics to computer science and engineering.
BMIF is indexed and abstracted in a number of databases and services including: EBSCO Academic Search Complete, DOAJ, Index Copernicus, CSA ProQuest, Zentralblatt MATH, and Ulrich's web. Moreover, BMIF is pending for inclusion in other major databases and indexes.
All the papers will be reviewed anonymously (double-blind process) by at least three referees with regard to originality, research quality, timeliness, significance, relevance and clarity of presentation. In addition to the editors and reviewers of the journal, distinguished national and international professionals with scientific and practical backgrounds will be involved in the reviewing process.
The reviewing process is as follows. First, each paper goes to a pre-review phase to check that the paper complies with the guidelines for authors and whether the English language level is appropriate for publishing in a scientific journal or not. A plagiarism detection step is also included in the pre-review phase. For the papers accepted after pre-reviewing, two reviewers will be chosen to review the paper, according to the topics selected for the paper, within a double blind peer review process (1st round of reviewing). The second round of reviewing starts after the authors upload the revised version of their papers, which takes into consideration the recommendations of the reviewers. During this round, an editor makes, for each and every paper, a third review assignment to another reviewer than the first two ones. This reviewer has access to both versions of the paper (initial, last) and to the two reviews from the first round. S/he can also make her or his own recommendations to improve the paper. The 2nd round of reviewing is repeated until the authors fulfill all the reviewing recommendations. No rebuttal phase is available.

When submitting, please fill up accurately all the mandatory fields in the submission form and upload all the necessary files: source, pdf and signed copyright form. Only the papers submitted online properly and, consequently, included in the journal.s database, will be considered for publishing.
The submission deadline for the next issue is 14th of October 2010.
Notification due: 12th of November 2010. Final version due: 25th of November 2010.
The papers that do not comply with the deadlines will be considered for further issues.
